Some of my favorite tech YouTube channels make it easy to keep learning even when I am not sitting down for a formal study session.

# Learning in the Background With ThePrimeagen and BroCode
I do not think YouTube replaces real practice, but I do think it can help a lot when you use it the right way. Some of the creators I keep coming back to are ThePrimeagen and BroCode because they make technical content feel approachable without flattening it into nonsense.
Why I like that format
A lot of the time I am learning passively first. I might be eating, cleaning, or taking a short break, and I will throw on a video that keeps me thinking about code, tools, or the industry. Later, that background exposure makes it easier to connect the dots when I actually sit down and build something.
Different strengths
BroCode is great when I want straightforward, clear explanations that get to the point. ThePrimeagen is fun for a different reason. He brings energy, opinions, and strong curiosity, which makes even tool discussions feel motivating. I do not agree with everything every creator says, but that is part of the value too. It keeps me thinking instead of just nodding along.
Passive learning still matters
The important thing is that passive learning works best when it feeds active learning. A video gives you vocabulary, direction, or confidence. The keyboard is where the real lesson happens.
Final thought
I like having creators around who make the space feel alive. They remind me that learning computer science does not only happen in classrooms or documentation tabs. Sometimes it starts with hearing somebody talk passionately about the craft.
